What is a Mitigation Action?
A Mitigation Action is a real and verifiable activity that reduces, avoids, or removes greenhouse gas emissions when compared to a defined baseline situation.
MAF-Supported Climate Hubs Initiative.
In partnership with the Mitigation Action Facility (MAF), the Earth Carbon Foundation is piloting 50 Resource Self-Reliance Hubs across Gujarat—transforming schools, hospitals, MSMEs and hospitality units into verified, low-carbon assets.
Using our in-house Time2Repay MRV platform and Earth Carbon Registry, the project aggregates micro-actions in energy, water, and waste to generate high-integrity carbon credits, while institutionalizing the Atmanirbhar Certification as a national standard for self-reliance.
